The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons lost against the Northeast Raiders back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Despite the defeat, Academy for Classical Education saw an underclassman step up: Jaylon Davis scored 14 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Vincent , who scored 14 points.
Academy for Classical Education's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Northeast, their win bumped their record up to 1-6.
Academy for Classical Education will be home for the holidays to greet Jordan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jordan has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 14. As for Northeast, they will head out on the road to face off against Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Southwest presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Northeast in Georgia (Southwest is ranked 214th, while Northeast is ranked 532nd).
