After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seven Hills, the Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions were happy to have found some success on Friday. They really took it to New Miami for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-19 win at home. With Miami Valley Christian Academy ahead 34-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miami Valley Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Peyton Kelly, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Casey Heap, who scored 12 points along with 4 steals.
The victory got Miami Valley Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for New Miami, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami Valley Christian Academy will take on North College Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Miami, they will be playing at home against Tri-County North at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
