The Life Center Academy Warriors stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 54-34 margin over The City School. The win was nothing new for Life Center Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.
Life Center Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elijah Brown led the charge by scoring 18 points along with four steals. Brown is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Al-Tariq Reevey was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven blocks and five rebounds.
Life Center Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for The City School, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Life Center Academy will square off against Our Saviour Lutheran at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Our Saviour Lutheran presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Life Center Academy in their respective states (Our Saviour Lutheran is ranked 11th in New York, while Life Center Academy is ranked 153rd in New Jersey). As for The City School, they will be playing at home against Girard College at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
