In what's become a running theme this season, the Crested Butte Titans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 69-28 victory over Center. Winning may never get old, but Crested Butte sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Weston Miller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Miller is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Davis, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Crested Butte's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Center, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crested Butte will take on Monte Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Center, they will head out on the road to challenge Sargent at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Sargent's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Center has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
