Chaparral has gone a perfect 10-0 against Highlands Ranch recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wolverines will look to defend their home court against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m.
Chaparral is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Legend, who was ranked third at the time (Chaparral was ranked seventh). The Wolverines fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Chaparral took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-20, 14-25, 25-14, 15-11.

Chaparral's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ava Johnson, who had 17 digs and five aces, and Brooke Wildhagen, who had 16 digs and one assist. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Highlands Ranch beat Ponderosa 3-1 on Friday. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.
The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-20, 28-30, 27-25.
Chaparral's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-3. As for Highlands Ranch, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.
Everything went Chaparral's way against Highlands Ranch in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Chaparral made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
