Oglethorpe County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 37-6 defeat at the hands of the Social Circle Redskins on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Remi Farmer, who rushed for 62 yards on only five carries, and also threw for 116 yards on only 11 passes. Those 62 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
