Richland will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Hankinson in at 7:00 PM.
Everything went their way against South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] last Friday as the team secured a 54-14 win.
Meanwhile, Hankinson had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-35 walloping at Oakes hands. Hankinson were down by 6-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Richland's lifted them to 1-0 while Hankinson's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Richland can add another positive mark to their record or if Hankinson can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Richland's step.
