With a playoff win on the line, Hammond Central rose to the challenge on Saturday. They managed a 30-26 win over the Lake Central Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 45-37 back in November of 2024.

Indiah Hutchinson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 14 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Valencia Miller, who posted seven points.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Central lost, don't look at Ayla Krygier. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.
