Woburn Memorial won the last time they faced Ursuline Academy and Alina Ayanian did her part to make sure it happened again. The Tanners came out on top against the Bears by a score of 3-1 on Friday for which the team can thank Ayanian, who had 14 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Woburn Memorial was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-13, 25-22.

Ursuline Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Charlotte Peck, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Rowan Luber, who had 18 digs and three aces.

Woburn Memorial now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Ursuline Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.
