After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Atlantic Christian, Calvary Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 25-13 margin over the Cumberland Christian Crusaders. Considering the Warrior have won three matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Gianna Mistretta made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Mistretta was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with six RBI, three runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Tori DiChiara was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with five runs. Savannah Gernay was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with four RBI.
