The GlenOak Golden Eagles will square off against the Green Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. GlenOak's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Green's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
GlenOak is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Washington with a sharp 14-4 win on Saturday. The Golden Eagles not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16, 2024 (when they won 13-2).
Mason Olbon made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, GlenOak let Gavin McCaulley and Bryce Broom run wild. McCaulley went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one RBI, while Broom went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave McCaulley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kyle Moff, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.
GlenOak always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Green, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past Twinsburg 6-5.
GlenOak has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Green, they pushed their record up to 8-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
GlenOak was able to grind out a solid victory over Green when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 7-2. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
