The Aqsa Legends won the last time they faced the MCC Crescents, and things went their way on Thursday too. Aqsa strolled past MCC with points to spare, taking the game 35-17. The win made it back-to-back wins for Aqsa.
Aqsa's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noor Saleh led the charge by scoring 14 points. Fatmah Sughayar was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Aqsa now has a winning record of 4-3. As for MCC, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Aqsa won't have much time to rest: their next game is against College Prep of America at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully College Prep of America focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Wednesday. MCC does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
