Memorial suffered their biggest defeat since November 27, 2023 on Thursday. They were beaten by Newton Falls 53-23. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Memorial has suffered against Newton Falls since January 19, 2021.
Despite the defeat, Memorial got a solid performance out of Diamon Sims, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Sims continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Crestview put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Struthers by a score of 48-37.
Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Crestview, they pushed their record up to 16-0 with that win, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.
