The Whitehall-Yearling Rams lost against the Granville Blue Aces back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Whitehall-Yearling fell just short of Granville by a score of 55-52. Whitehall-Yearling has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Rams players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zamir Russell, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dvontae Johnson, who scored 14 points.
Whitehall-Yearling's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Granville, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitehall-Yearling will take on Columbus Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Granville, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Johnstown-Monroe at 7:00 p.m.
