Model and Banks County squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Model had to settle for second. They fell 51-44 to the Banks County Leopards. The Blue Devils' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Model's defeat dropped their record down to 24-6. As for Banks County, the victory was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-5.

Model does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Banks County, they will square off against Fannin County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Fannin County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Banks County likes a good challenge.
