The St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints will head out on the road to face off against the Bullis Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They walked away with an 87-80 win over St. Albans.
Julian Burgdolf and Kyan Bowman were among the main playmakers for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes as the former scored 19 points along with three steals and the latter dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bowman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Gordon, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Bullis entered their tilt with Landon with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Bullis blew past Landon 76-43 at home. Bullis has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Bullis, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes came up short against Bullis when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 66-56. Can St. Stephen's & St. Agnes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
