Tug Valley has won six straight games at home, while Sherman has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Tide at 6:00 p.m. Tug Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Tug Valley's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Tolsia as they made off with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Bailee Hall made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Emma Lackey was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Katie Hall, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
Tug Valley hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tolsia struck out nine times.
Meanwhile, Sherman posted their closest win since April 19th on Tuesday. They skirted past St. Joseph Central 8-6. The Tide haven't had any issues with the Irish recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Emma Russell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carter Plantz, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexie Lowe, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
Tug Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Sherman, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.
Sherman's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Tug Valley has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Sherman, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Tug Valley keep running through batters, or will the Tide buck the trend?
Tug Valley beat Sherman 4-1 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Tide have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
