The Bridges Prep Buccaneers have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They blew past Royal Live Oaks Academy, posting a 53-4 victory at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bridges Prep also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Bridges Prep found their leader in underclassman Makayla Lapp, who scored 18 points. Raelynn Reeves was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Bridges Prep's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Royal Live Oaks Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Bridges Prep will head out on the road to square off against the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Allendale-Fairfax will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Royal Live Oaks Academy, they will be playing at home against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Whale Branch is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
