The Johnson City Wildcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 28-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ithaca. Johnson City has not had much luck with Ithaca recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Johnson City's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Brzozowy, who threw for 181 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 84 yards.
Johnson City's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Ithaca, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Johnson City's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Tioga at 9:45 p.m. on November 10th. Ithaca does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
