The Twin Valley South Panthers had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They suffered a rough 68-48 loss at the hands of Cedarville on Saturday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Twin Valley South in their matchups with Cedarville: they've now lost five in a row.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jace Thuma, who scored 13 points. Trent Ray was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 7 rebounds.
Twin Valley South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Cedarville, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Twin Valley South will head out on the road to face off against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Legacy Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday. As for Cedarville, they will be playing at home against Southeastern Local at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
