Jorge Benitez-Gonzalez with 3:00 to go in the second quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.
PS came into the game allowing 15.6 points per game. The zero points that the Lions ended with were well below their average of 25.9 coming into the game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 45-17 win for the Indians.
The defeat comes as a step back for Cathedral City, which notched a 35-14 victory over La Quinta in its previous outing. The loss ended Cathedral City's three-game winning streak.
