Onix Carson's Big Game Leads Vallivue over Ridgevue
Starting off the list is Vallivue's Onix Carson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carson rushed for 247 yards while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.
The win (which was Vallivue's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Carson and Vallivue will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Kelly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Emmett was led to victory by Lincoln Thayn, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Thayn rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown.
Emmett pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Thayn and Emmett will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Nampa at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Scheibe Made His Presence Known in Emmett's 35-14 Victory
Keeping Thayn company is Ryder Scheibe, a fellow Emmett player. He rushed for 106 yards on only 12 carries, and also threw for 73 yards and two touchdowns.
On the season, Scheibe has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had seven passing touchdowns.

Eli Hamilton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bonneville to the win on Friday. Hamilton threw for 291 yards and two touchdowns.
For the season, Hamilton has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 106.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had one passing touchdown.
