Deer Valley entered their tilt with Notre Dame Prep on Friday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Saints  a   3-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Skyhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Adyson Ordway made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  RBI.
 Ordway wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Priscilla Lopez, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
Deer Valley's victory bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for Notre Dame Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
 Deer Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  4-0  defeat against Heritage Academy on the 21st. As for Notre Dame Prep, they will square off against Horizon at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
