Softball Recap: Carroll Wins Going Away Against Richwood

Carroll got their first taste of in-conference action on Wednesday and they started things off strong. They blew past the Richwood Rams 20-3. That looming 20-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Richwood, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carroll will take on Lincoln Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.09 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Richwood, they will face off against Bastrop at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
