Orlando Christian Prep was led to victory by Darius Washington, III and Ameer Ramadan. Washington, III scored 18 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while Ramadan scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Ramadan hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jemeh Jones, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds.
Orlando Christian Prep's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Viera, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orlando Christian Prep will take on Winter Haven at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Winter Haven's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Viera won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Eau Gallie at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Eau Gallie is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
