The state rankings had actually given English Valleys a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
English Valleys' loss pushes them down to 4-5. The win was the 3rd in a row for Lone Tree raised their record to 4-5. Both of these squads appear to be finished for the season, as they have no upcoming games scheduled.
