Woods Cross made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Roy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Woods Cross put the hurt on Roy with a sharp 13-6 win on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their two-run performance the game before.

Jenna Larsen was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Kylie Olson, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Green Canyon has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Woods Cross now has a winning record of 2-1.
