Charles Manack and Dakota Hixson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against West Greene. The longest such play in WPIAL A Tri-County South this season, the connection resulted in 51 yards.
Nicholas Smalich of Frazier ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against the Pioneers last week. Smalich ran for 95 yards on the play and finished with 179 on the day as his team topped West Greene.
Thanks to the talents of Manack and Smalich, Frazier has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Manack is tops in the league in passing with 653 yards, while Smalich has rushed for 335 yards this season. Carmichaels's Tyler Aeschbacher leads the league in receiving yards with 333 on 13 catches.
Next week's game between Mike Steeber's team and Jefferson-Morgan will feature an aerial matchup as Manack tests his arm against Rece Henneman's defensive ability.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Paul Kreuzer's team takes on Bethlehem Center. The Pioneers are currently in seventh, while the Bulldogs are in first.
The league will see a high scoring game when the Rockets and the Commodores face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Jefferson-Morgan comes in having scored 102 this season, while Frazier has scored 146. Liam Ryan's team scored 26 points last week as it fell to Avella.
The Eagles scaled the state rankings by moving to 336 from 363 this week, the biggest jump in WPIAL A Tri-County South. Avella was able to move up by topping the Rockets 27-26.
