Eureka was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight  loss. They fell  4-1 to the Arcata Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season,  with their most recent  defeat being a  9-8  loss  on Saturday.
 Makenze Wolff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and three unearned) runs on six hits.
 At the plate, Eureka saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Mallorie Beauchamp, who  went 1-for-4 with one  run.
Eureka's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16-1. As for Arcata,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 7-9.
