After a string of three wins, the Temple City Rams's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 78-47 loss at the hands of Canyon.
Defeat or not, Temple City got some senior leadership from Justin Chung who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three blocks and Cody Lau who scored ten points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Shawn Le, who scored two points along with three steals.
Temple City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Canyon, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Temple City and Calvary Baptist will face off at 6:30 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. United Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1016th, while Canyon is ranked 444th).
