When it comes to explaining why Broadwater Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Leah Smith. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. Smith has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played.
The victory makes it two in a row for Denbigh Baptist Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-3. As for Broadwater Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

As for Broadwater Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Holly Grove Christian at 5:30 p.m. Holly Grove Christian is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
