William Blount never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Webb Spartans as William Blount made off with a 9-0 win. Considering the Governors have won five games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

William Blount has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. Webb's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Coming up, William Blount will challenge Howland at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Webb, they will venture away from home to challenge Concord Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
