  Parker Babcock tossed a big game,   pitching 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   six  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Cole Vaughan was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Connor Loftin, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Ayden - Grifton's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for North Pitt, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-9.
