Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Springfield walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Rachel Becker paced Springfield's offense, picking up 12 kills. Becker got some help from Franny VonDeBur and her 12 assists. Finally, Angel Efe Nogo kept Springfield's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Springfield's victory bumped their record up to 23-9. As for Decatur Eisenhower, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-26.

Coming up, Springfield will face off against Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Decatur Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
