With a playoff win on the line, Bay rose to the challenge on Thursday. They never let the Rutherford Rams get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 5-4 win on April 2nd.

Bay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnathan Corona, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

The victory made it two in a row for Bay and bumps their season record up to 15-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Rutherford, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

As of now, neither Bay nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
