The Glencliff Colts's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Macon County, falling 101-11. Glencliff lost against Macon County in their previous head to head two weeks ago, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 86-6 score last time.
It was another big night for Natalie Green, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds for Macon County. Kaylee Slayton was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Glencliff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Macon County, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glencliff won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Overton at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Overton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday. As for Macon County, they will be playing at home against Westmoreland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
