The Fordham Prep Rams stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They really took it to St. Joseph-by-the-Sea for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-39 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Fordham Prep sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Fordham Prep had a senior duo take command as Will Gregory went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 2 assists and Matthew Kapfer scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Gregory continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Charles Panarella was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals and two blocks.
Fordham Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for St. Joseph-by-the-Sea, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fordham Prep will square off against Cardinal Spellman at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cardinal Spellman comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for St. Joseph-by-the-Sea, they will head out on the road to take on Xavier at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
