After two weeks on the road, Centerville is heading back home. On Friday they take on Clarke at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
There's no need to mince words: Centerville lost to Chariton last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 13-63. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Centerville.
Meanwhile, if Clarke were riding high off their 47-18 takedown of Saydel two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Clarke found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 30-63 punch to the gut against Des Moines Christian.
Everything came up roses for Centerville against Clarke the last time the two teams met as the team secured a 41-0 win. Will Centerville repeat their success, or does Clarke have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
