After only one run in their last matchup, Milby made sure to put some runs up on the board against Sterling on Tuesday. The Buffs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Raiders a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Buffs, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jacob Morales was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Woodard-Hicks Dre'Lyn, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Milby always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sterling only posted an OBP of .091.

Milby is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Sterling, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Milby beat the Raiders by a score of 12-2 on Friday.
