Despite the defeat, Central Davidson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Raegan McCarn went 8 of 16 on her way to 24 points and five rebounds. Central Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Parkland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
