The Cedar Reds will venture away from home to challenge the Pine View Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
If Cedar beats Pine View with four runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Cedar won by a run and slipped past Hurricane 4-3.

Cooper Payne spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Payton Ludlow was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple was his first of the season.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Pine View's offense. They came up short against Desert Hills on Friday, falling 13-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Pine View saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kobe Goodman, who went 2-for-3 with one double.
Even though they lost, Pine View hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive games.
Pine View's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for Cedar, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 8-4.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Cedar hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Pine View struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Cedar suffered a grim 12-2 defeat to Pine View in their previous matchup on March 7th. Can Cedar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
