Bonita Springs is 0-4 against Oasis since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bonita Springs Bullsharks will head out on the road to challenge the Oasis Sharks at 6:00 p.m. Bonita Springs is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Bonita Springs pushed their score all the way to 67 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 81-67 to Gateway. While losing is never fun, Bonita Springs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 767th, while Gateway is ranked 102nd).
Meanwhile, Oasis had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Naples Classical 80-66 on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Bonita Springs bumped their record down to 0-19 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Oasis, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.
Bonita Springs came up short against Oasis in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 68-60. Thankfully for Bonita Springs, Nick Brown (who scored 17 points along with six assists and two steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
