Volleyball Recap: Mount Miguel's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Mount Miguel had lost four straight headed into Saturday's match, but Jamall Soulivong didn't let it get to five. The Mount Miguel Matadors walked away with a 2-0 win over the Calvin Christian Crusaders on Saturday with plenty of help from Soulivong, who had 12 digs. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Mount Miguel's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Calvin Christian, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Mount Miguel has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Horizon Prep on the 15th. Calvin Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crawford at 5:30 p.m. on March 31st.
