Meanwhile, Ben Holt College Prep Academy stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lodi Academy 72-25 at home. With Ben Holt College Prep Academy ahead 45-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
It was another big night for Tayden Collins, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Collins is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Asa Gonsalves, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Ripon's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-7. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Ripon have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Ben Holt College Prep Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 37 rebounds per game.
