Kenwood  took care of business in their home opener  on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy  39-25 victory over the Milan Bulldogs. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season.
 Kenwood found their leader in sophomore  Sy?Nya Seay, who  posted 14 points in addition to six  steals and five  rebounds.  Yazmine Pearson was another key player,  dropping  a double-double on ten points and 11  rebounds.
 Kenwood and Riverdale are set to duel  on Friday. Kenwood is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Milan, they will look to take advantage of their home-court for the first time this season as they take on Jackson North Side  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
