Wallace was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
In other batting news, Keagan Book was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with three runs and a triple. Ian Ross was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
New Castle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Moniteau, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
