 Haydyn Schexnayder was a major factor no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Charli Sonnier was  incredible,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Aubrey Douget was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Three bases.
Meanwhile, Kinder made easy work of Rapides  on Thursday and carried off  a  9-0 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.
Not much got past  Samantha Hayes, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Rapides off the board.
 At the plate, Kinder got a  massive  performance out of  Caegen Manuel, who  scored two  runs and  stole  Four bases. while going 2-for-3. Manuel is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brianna Fontenot, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Iota is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record  this season. Kinder's victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
