Taegan Lermann was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had over her last ten matches. She was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, four runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs.
In other batting news, Kiran Kyham and Eloni Preston did most of the damage at the plate: Kyham scored four runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4, while Preston went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
