Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Becton). They breezed by the Garfield Boilermakers to the tune of 57-16 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

The victory made it two in a row for Becton and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Garfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Becton will challenge Ridgefield Park at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Garfield, they will face off against Saddle Brook at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Garfield is facing Saddle Brook at the right time seeing as Saddle Brook is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
