The Boyertown Bears were the 70-45 winner over the Pottsgrove Falcons when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. Boyertown fell 53-42 to Pottsgrove on Thursday.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jack Greaves, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Greaves has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Braedyn Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Boyertown's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-9. As for Pottsgrove, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Boyertown will head out on the road to square off against Academy Park at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Academy Park has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 177 points over their last three matchups. Pottsgrove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
